Ferrari 296 sourcing in Texas

Official Ferrari launch photograph of a 296. Press vehicle, not Provenance inventory.

296 is a car, not a poster

The 296 GTB and GTS are the current mid-engine V6 hybrid Ferraris most Texas buyers actually mean when they say they want a new Prancing Horse they might get. The launch photographs here are Ferrari S.p.A. press images. They are not Provenance inventory.

There are two honest paths: a dealer allocation, and a used 296 that already exists. Mixing them up is how people wait two years or overpay on a car they could have bought last month with a PPI.

Allocation is a path, not a vending machine

Texas has authorized Ferrari dealers. Allocation still depends on the dealer, the model, and the buyer’s history with that store. A first 296 is possible. It is not automatic. The longer allocation guide covers the ladder; this page is the 296 file.

If a dealer is quoting a number disconnected from the build, or a timeline with no slot, you do not have an allocation. You have a conversation. Provenance will say so.

Used 296s

Used 296s show up with miles, owner counts, and option combinations that may be better than a new build you cannot get. They also show up with stories. Treat a used 296 like any other pre-owned exotic: history, PPI, title. See pre-owned exotic sourcing.

A 296 with a messy title is still a title file. Title in transit and name mismatches apply here the same way they apply to a 911.

Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio: same work. We source on your side, new or used. We do not hold a 296 to flip to you. If you want the car, send the spec or the VIN. Start an acquisition.
